MIRA for consultants
With MIRA, you as a consultant can carry out the entire inventory process on MIRA’s platform. Here, you can upload building drawings and then head out to conduct the inventory using digital plans on a tablet. You can mark sampling points, take notes and photos, and link them to specific parts of the building. You can also highlight areas on the drawing and connect them to specific material samples. When you enter information related to a material sample, such as a lab result, the information for the areas linked to that specific sample is also updated.
These features are available in the first version of MIRA, which was completed in the spring of 2025. Future updates will include handling of analysis orders and automatic calculation of waste and recyclable materials. There will also be guides for the inventory of both hazardous waste and asbestos, as well as guides for circular material flows.
MIRA is designed to ensure that all hazardous waste is identified and to support circular flows of recycled materials.
MIRA for property owners
MIRA for property owners, or clients, gives you access to the inventory through MIRA´s user-friendly platform. Here, you can carefully review details such as photos and notes to understand where hazardous materials, such as asbestos, are located in the building. This facilitates renovations and demolitions, reduces the risk of additional work orders, and supports the procurement of contractors, such as remediation and demolition contractors.
A future version of MIRA will be able to calculate climate savings from recycled materials and the share of hazardous waste that has been safely disposed of. This will be an important part of your sustainability reporting!
MIRA for recycling operators
As a player in the recycling industry, you can connect to MIRA and receive information when an inventory identifies materials that can be used as a resource.
The inventory in MIRA does not focus solely on waste, but also highlights building materials with recycling potential. Since the inventory is conducted before demolition or dismantling begins, you receive information at an early stage – about what is available, where it is located, and in what quantities.
By connecting to MIRA, you gain access to relevant material data at the right time – so that more resources can be recovered instead of being lost.
